What age is the Drift Kart for?
Recommended for riders 6 and up. Ability varies by child, and adult supervision is required on every ride.
How fast does it go?
Two forward speeds: about 3.7 mph in low mode and up to 11.2 mph in high mode, plus reverse. Start in low mode until your rider is comfortable.
Does it actually drift?
Yes. The rear-wheel drive setup allows 360° drifting and sliding on smooth, flat surfaces like a driveway or paved lot.
What's the maximum rider weight?
150 lb.
How long does the battery last?
Around 60+ minutes per charge. Actual ride time depends on rider weight, speed mode, terrain and driving style.
What battery does it use?
A 24V 9Ah rechargeable battery. Charger included.
Does it have a real brake?
Yes. Separate throttle and brake pedals, just like a real kart.
Is it safe?
It has a 5-point seat belt, a separate brake pedal, a low-speed mode for beginners and responsive steering. Adult supervision, a helmet and the 5-point seat belt are required on every ride; knee and elbow pads are recommended.
Is the seat adjustable?
Yes. Three positions with about 2 inches of adjustment, so it fits as they grow.
Does it need assembly?
Yes. Adult assembly required. The box is heavy, so having a second adult helps.
What colors are available?
Red, White and Blue.
Where does it ship from and how long does it take?
Ships free from our U.S. warehouse. Orders ship within 1–4 business days and arrive 4–6 business days after that. The kart ships as one large box, so plan a spot to receive it. Free shipping covers the 48 contiguous states; we can't ship to Alaska, Hawaii, PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
What if it arrives damaged or something's missing?
It's covered by our 30-Day Quality Guarantee. Shipping damage, missing parts, defects or anything that doesn't work on first use — email us with photos within 30 days and we'll send replacement parts or a full replacement at no cost to you.
Can I return it if my child doesn't like it, or I ordered the wrong color?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery, as long as the kart is unused, unassembled and in the original packaging. Email support@mydriftkart.com first to get a return authorization — we can't accept returns that show up without one. Return shipping is paid by the customer and a 20% restocking fee applies to change-of-mind and wrong-color returns. Double-check the color before checkout — it's a big box to send back.
